1. Yamunotri:

• Location: Yamunotri is situated in the Uttarkashi district, nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas.
• Significance: The Yamunotri temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, and it marks the source of the Yamuna River. Pilgrims often take a holy dip in the hot water springs near the temple called Surya Kund before entering the main temple.
• Opening Time: The temple opens in late April or early May and closes around the time of Diwali in October or November.

2. Gangotri:

• Location: Gangotri is located in the Uttarkashi district as well, and it is dedicated to Goddess Ganga.

4. Badrinath:

• Location: Badrinath is situated in the Chamoli district and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
• Significance: Badrinath is a significant pilgrimage site and is one of the Char Dham temples. The Badrinarayan Temple is an iconic structure in the region, and the sacred Alaknanda River flows near it.
• Opening Time: The Badrinath temple opens in late April or early May and closes in October or November.
